We all know the drill by now: The Coyote is trying to trick the Roadrunner by painting a tunnel on the side of a cliff and somehow the Roadrunner manages to run through it, But when the Coyote tries to run after him, he immediately smashes into the wall. That's the whole point of cartoons, that they are not bound by any laws of nature and absolutely ANYTHING can happen - Animals can talk, Grandparents can travel between dimensions, and a sponge can live in a pineapple under the sea - anything goes.

But sometimes cartoons throw logic out the window and it just doesn't make sense. Like, why is Goofy a dog that is entirely human but Pluto is an actual dog? And how can Arthur wear glasses if he doesn't have ears OR a nose?
